New project introduction

Thanks everyone for Liking our page on Facebook, please feel free to also drop your thoughts on the comments.

Meanwhile in the headquarters, we’ve been working on a new game concept to create a multiplayer living environment simulation and interactions between every single element in the terrain. The game will start as a survivalist in a desert island and is planned to evolve into something much bigger and complex.

For now, the objective is to simulate a survival experience in a wild territory. Search and collect food, resources like wood,  start a campfire and hunt animals. Build fences, walls of stone and make a ceiling with palm leaves. Cultivate a farm and rabbits and protect yourself from wild animals and night predators. All of that inside an environment where all the elements are brought to life with a DNA programming system, that allows them to behave specifically through time. That means that the game has it’s own ecologic balance and only the player’s actions will interfere on it.

Here are the first screenshots of what we have accomplished so far. Initially it’s going to be 2D based sprites, but in future releases all the graphical interface will be translated to 3D models, with real time shadings and all.

The working title for this project for now is “Castaway” but we are looking for other cool names that have not been yet taken. You can help us by sending suggestions in the Facebook Comment box below or by e-mail at feedback@deonn.com. Our intention is to develop this great idea oriented by what everyone has to say. See ya!
